UNPS Offers No Signature Required (NSR)
Unified Network Payment Solutions® (UNPS) is pleased to now offer No Signature Required (NSR). NSR allows qualified merchants to process MasterCard®, Visa® and American Express® credit card transactions faster than ever before!
How does it work?
The NSR transaction process is the same as a standard credit card transaction only faster, because a signature is not required from your customers for transactions under the pre-specified dollar limit for your merchant type. Please click here to open the NSR brochure for the listing of merchant types and associated dollar limits. ‘No Signature Required’ will print on the terminal receipt in place of the signature line. You don’t have to provide a receipt unless your customer requests one.
Benefits to merchants:
- Increased Sales – Customers are no longer restricted by the cash they have on hand and can use their credit card for smaller ticket transactions. Customers will also tend to spend more and are satisfied by the increased speed of the transaction.
- No additional Equipment Required – Your Keycorp® K23 will process NSR transactions.
- Chargeback Protection – Provides increased chargeback protection from certain types of chargeback’s on qualified transactions.
